Epiphany and an old habit

My computer at home has been down with a sickness for a week now and I haven't really tried to fix it much.

Today I discovered just how much time I was wasting by being online and at the desktop now that I have so much extra time.

We had family over the past one week so I thought that is why I did not miss it much but even today when the house was very quite, I managed to get so much done. I'm rediscovering the joy gotten out of reading an actual physical book rather than reading an e-book or just something random online.

I've missed Sherlock Holmes.

Now that I'm at the office, I will try and catch up with the world through rss and other sources knowing fully well that wonderful mysteries await me at home.

Link blogs

It seems link blogs are the new in-thing nowadays.

So many aggregators have sprung up just to collect shared items and links. I have quite a list I follow daily. Here it is via the big pimp Greader.

Also, new feature on the right hand side. Most recent links shared will be displayed there so you can follow the stream of links from that as well.

Enjoy.

Zen in the storm

Been so busy this week its not funny.

Submitted paperwork for a US Visa interview for next Tuesday. A week filled with proposals to be sent to clients, delivery dates for existing projects and other hustle bustle.

In the middle of all this, I found some time to kick butt in our office LAN's Counter Strike tourneys every day. Having fun breaking the stress without some chillout gaming.

Rock on.
